Describe Yourself:
A combination of realist and idealist. All my life, I've had the privilege to hold jobs that are stimulating and that offer the opportunity to change the world, at least a little bit. Life is fleeting – we only have this one chance to make a difference and that is the mission I'm on.
I'm honored to be with Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides health care and education to five million people every year – and does so much every day to protect our rights.
I'm big on being a mom and highly recommend it to anyone who's giving it consideration. My children have changed and enriched everything about how I view the world; they teach me something new every day.
My mother taught me some important lessons which I try to live out: never turn down a new experience; failure is a better teacher than success; and this is the only life you get, so do it now.
